Wedding Website

Since we are finalizing our invites and want to print them soon (eeeek!) we decided we would like our own wedding website.

I know that when I joined The Knot I signed up for our own page - but since I didn't really care for the site in general (I know I'm such a bad bride) I never really finished it.

I've also heard great things about the Wedding Wire personal sites.

I'm looking for sites you have used, or sites you suggests.  Let's hear it girls! What did you and your groom choose?  What did you like about it?  What were some of the disadvantages?  What would you do differently if you had a to do a site over?

I wish we'd done this, it would've saved us work and time in the long run. I didn't know 'The Knot' had that facility, I just used their checklist.

We just used wedding wire, I thought they were pretty easy to use. I had also started one on the knot and just half did it and could not figure out how to take it down! But I like wedding wire, we are putting the link on our save the dates and then again on an insert in the invites to give guests more info. They also do the checklist like the knot does. You can also pay like 10 a month to have your own custom dot com site.

We used Wedding Window because we really liked the features and customizablitiy (is that a word?) they offered. We paid for our site, but a lot of people visited it so I feel like it was worth the money.

It's http://heatherandjosh.weddingwindow.comif you want to check it out!

We haven't done ours yet, but since I'm already so familiar with blogger, I think I might just turn a new blog into a wedding site. I don't plan on using it as an actual blog, but more since I'm familiar with how it works can easily customize a site to look just how I want it.
